Day 318: Serendipity

Monday, March 15th, 2010

I wrote an e-mail and thought that one part of it could be nice to share here in the blog:

US is nice. I like my first time here in NYC with all the random encounters and serendipitous moments. I keep running into interesting people everywhere I go and find myself in the most diverse conversations.

Today the business manager in a store I visited started talking to me, invited me to a cup of tea and a great conversation about business, change making and traveling.

Then I bumped into a woman on the street who started talking with me about some of her memories and where she’s at in here life right now. She’s been a violinist since she was a kid, but haven’t played for ages. She called me an angel because I reminded her of the joy of playing, instead of being afraid and holding back.

When I went grocery shopping another woman started talking to me about a pin I had on my coat. I asked who she’d choose to meet if she could meet anyone in the world and later it turned out that she’s a radio producer. She gave me some really good ideas and also a suggestion about a foundation to check out.

Day 238: Open heart

Thursday, December 24th, 2009

My heart is so wonderfully open, filled with joy & gratitude!

Received a call from Australia.
“I wish to be involved in your project.
You are inspirational to me.
The way you follow your heart
and follow what your soul tells you to do.
I wish to be a part of that.”

Just the choice to pick up the phone, call me and share so much inspiration. Thank you, R.

I feel like crying. Happy tears, I swear… :)
Knowing that I have friends in different parts of the world, friends so close that we call each other sisters. Because we are. Daniela in Australia, Lisa in the US.

People calling themselves my fans, cause they’re inspired by what I do – and that’s people that I’m inspired by. How cool is it to inspire each other to keep moving forward towards our dreams? Very, I say. :)

Others saying “just let me know how I can support you, and I will be here in any way, shape or form”. That feels wonderful.

Worldwide safety net
I’m amazed by the awesome people all around me. The amazing people who together are like a safety net, being the ones who pull me up, push me forward, point out the possibilities and guide me with their love and support.

My gratitude goes way beyond words and I know that you can feel it. You know it too. You know that you are a part of this journey and that you make a difference – to me and to the Win Win World Tour.

Thank you!

Day 233: Moving on

Saturday, December 19th, 2009

So the time has come to move on.

Australia – Bjuv
After a fabulous time in Australia I’m now preparing myself for a flight to Scandinavia. Monday and Tuesday looks something like this: Brisbane – Sydney – Singapore – London – Copenhagen – Helsingor – Helsingborg – Bjuv. :)

Christmas
When I started this journey I didn’t think that I’d be in Sweden at all during the 610 days, once I’d left Sweden. Then I ended up spending a few days there between Ireland & Australia and now I’m wildly looking forward to spending Christmas with family & friends.

Wow, I really look forward to give my mom
a big warm hug when I arrive on Tuesday! :D

Words of wisdom
I was going to change my shirt,
but I changed my mind instead.
