Day 215: A dream come true

Tuesday, December 1st, 2009

A creative mind
Here’s a video clip from one of the main tv channels in Sweden (it’s in Swedish) showing the work of someone who’s found her dream in the Japanese crafting culture and brought it over to Sweden. I’m looking at it in awe – it’s just way cool!

Mia’s dream
A dream is coming true for Mia who’s let her creativity lead her way. She’s turned her passion and self-taught (!) skills into a book that’s become a major success. A second book is on its way, tv and newspapers gladly share the magic created by her hands and heart. Visit Foxy Panda to see more!

A dream can look a million different ways!
What does your dream look like, what seed lies in the warmth of your heart, growing, stretching, reaching out to see the daylight and add gifts to those who are touched by your magic?

What’s your passion?

Day 214: Good news!

Monday, November 30th, 2009

Yay! Good news!
I’ve been approved for the final application round for Sandbox, a global community of inspiring young achievers and innovators. Now they’ve asked me to share the “WOW” in me. :)

I’m asking for your support here, to make the good news even better!

Share your story!
I’d be honored if you’d share a brief story of your experience of me, especially in a way that gives Sandbox answers regarding the following:

How can we best see that Malin is a real Sandboxer full of
passion, ideas and the power to make things happen?

Sandbox values passion over grades and achievements over fancy job titles. Tell us about Malins
ambitions, and how she uses her energy to shape the world around her.

What I ask from you:
* your experience of the WOW in me
* your name, 1 sentence about you, your country

You can deliver it as a text, audio or video.

Please, send your story to malin@winwinworldtour.com on or before Wed Dec 2nd at 2pm (GMT +10).

Thank you so much!

With love,
Malin Berdette

Day 188: Sponsor! Yay!

Wednesday, November 4th, 2009

Yay! Yesterday I talked to Karl-Johan Almegård about my journey as well as his plans to go international.

Great news!
Karl-Johan decided to sponsor the Win Win World Tour through his company Up2U! I immediately extended my travel insurance so now I’m covered for the rest of 2009! Happy me! =)

Karl-Johan Almegård about sponsoring wwwt:
Karl-Johan Almegård“Humanity has reached a point of global awareness. We’ve been there for a long time regarding economics. Now, however, it’s crucial to create new networks between countries, based on good ideas rather than limiting ourselves by geographical and cultural differences. Malin’s “Win Win World Tour” is a part of making that come true. During her journey she connects people and makes the world a bit smaller. It’s easy to see the value of what she’s creating and I’m pleased to contribute to her amazing journey!”
Up2U
