Day 489: Higher, clearer, stronger

Thursday, September 2nd, 2010

Today is another cool day. I enjoy being on a high. :) The conference calls are clearer, the pieces fit together, the focus is stronger – oh, my body is stronger too. You should see me doing them weights in the gym. I push myself harder and harder, lifting heavier and heavier, and then completely relax with closed eyes immersing into my endorphiny oh-my-god-did-I-just-make-that-arousal. I rock!

I’m so excited by the events of this day that I go blank when writing. :) Hm. I made the choice to step out of one of my mastermind groups earlier, no drama, no problems, just moving on because it’s time to move on. We’ll continue sending through our requests via email though, so we can hold the intention for each other.

Interesting and valuable session with missy D as usual and the momentum is gaining power in my collaboration with Ivan. I feel how we’re moving to yet another level. Went through the financials of the restaurant with dad and updated the blog covering the last few days.

Hey, remember the very special porn star I mentioned a while ago? Well, I got mail today. Snail mail. Lol. :) Haven’t had the time to dig very deep into the material yet, but a quick glimpse told me that my gut feeling was spot on. Yes, it totally fits into the bigger picture and no, you’ll have to be patient. Kick back and relax, I’ll explain it soon enough. ;)

Now, my friends, it’s time for me to go. I hear that she’s playing music upstairs, tempting me to get ready to hit the clubs. We’re heading out for another workout on the dancefloor, myself & my new partner in crime. Ah, the benefits of living in a spot where it’s Saturday all week long.

Auf wiedersehen!

Day 488: Connections, connections, connections

Wednesday, September 1st, 2010

So many connections on so many continents in just one day of awesome flow! =) Connecting Pamela & Ivan – which was a perfect match. Awesome convo with Daniela, leading to an experiment with a 4-day work-week of 1-hour work-days.

Awesome email from Toronto, thanks to a serendipitous meeting on Day 100, touching the stuff that is currently swirling around in my mind. An email from Sweden via another serendipitous contact that goes a few years back – and that email was about… serendipity & connections.

So many things falling in place – or rather me creating the space for all the yummy things to fall into. Ah, the flow! =D

Day 487: Pool psychology

Wednesday, September 1st, 2010

So, I met up with the Arnold Schwarzenegger lookalike from last week’s crazy Malaysian trip. We played another round of pool (11 games), this time at way better tables. “You’ve been taking lessons, haven’t you?” he said. “Nope, the tables are better here” I replied.

Then I lost game after game after game. Heard myself thinking “no problem, I learn a lot” which I really did because I allowed myself to try out new techniques. Looked at the way he played and was surprised. I’ve never seen anyone put so much energy in making it harder for the opponent, instead of focusing on his own result.

I asked about his choice of strategy and the answer I got was about something completely different; my way of playing. :) He told me how I was playing ten times better than our last session, that I got way ahead of him – and then started sabotaging for myself.

He brought up a whole theory about me not believing that I can win, which is why I start messing up as soon as I get ahead. “In your face, baby” I said to myself in my head. There I was analyzing him – and he just flipped it around. Gave me some food for thought.

It’s interesting how accurate the saying ”how you do one thing is how you do everything” is.

Hm, I could take this blogpost in so many different directions from here. Instead I’ll stop it right here. Oh, wait, it lead to him putting me in touch with a super cool chick doing fabulous performance coaching. Serendipity at its best. :)

And the score? 9-2 to him and as he said, I lost more than he won… (Darn eightball!)
